Stopped and looked at what im assuming is an 05 SRT 10 today and apparently its titled as an 02 Ram. I've known the owner for years and i trust him but I'd like feedback on whether this is to sketchy to buy. He was upfront about the vin issue but doesn't know where to find the alternate vin tags, and im also unsure as to where they are located. Need alternate locations as the dash vin is apparently matching the title.

Truck has 55,000 miles and is an Arizona truck.

Im not 100%. If he has it out next time i stop back home, ill have to dig around under the hood.

 

Well it should be obvious if it isn't, unless he's had a donor. 05's will have the massive 4 piston calipers of front, the distinguishable body kit and rear bumper, and the interior is unique, for a few.

I ain't ever heard of any "VIN issue". Sounds fishy to me and I'd stay clear of it if it were me...
