SRT-10
Agree with the Magnaflow for bang for the buck. Wakes the sound of the truck up. Problem is that you drive around in a low gear all the time to hear it and it doubles your fuel bill - but it's worth it. The jury is out on the CAIs. Lots of differing opinions there. Some guys preferred a drop-in K&N in the stock air box. My K&N CAI added a nice growl at WOT but not much on the butt dyno. The Volant is a pretty cool looking set-up and adds hood scoop functionality. There are some good dyno number published for it but I haven't seen any track times yet. The best track times I've seen have been from the Mopar catback and intake. If I remember right, a couple of those guys are running high 12s. They may have had the Mopar PCM upgrade too. Just get an STS turbo and you don't have to worry about the catback or the intake.
You're going to get as many varied opinions on that as you're going to get on CAIs. There are pros and cons to both. Quicksilver has an awesome set-up with his Paxton S/C. In fact, a ride in his truck got me hooked on boosting my truck. I researched and chose to go with the STS turbo system. One reason is that they are 6 miles from my house. Second I really like the flat torque curve of the turbo. I had over 500 ft/lbs from 2,500 rpms to 5,700 rpms at only 5#s of boost. That was with the turbo on the stock motor. That's all usable power. My engine is currently being upgraded and will be able to safely run 10#s of boost. I also liked that lack of heat in the intake charge and under the hood. My rear mounted turbo runs 500 degrees cooler than under-the-hood turbos. One thing is for sure, there are a lot of choices becoming available.
