1 What was the first year for the srt/10?

2 I have a chance to buy an 05 srt/10 limited edition with about 3500 miles on it. Have not heard the price yet But am very interested. It is 86 of 200 built with regular cab, white paint and blue stripes over the top, taunu cover and polished wheels. What do you all think?

1. 2004 was the first year and 2006 wioll be the last for the forseeable future.

2. There has been a couple of those SE trucks on EBay recently, they have sold for around $38K-40K new. There is one on there now with 3400 miles for just under 40K. Go for the new and work them, they can be had for upper 30s. The are slow selling due to high gas prices and the dealers keep eating taxes as those 05s sit on their lots.

Dealer by me (Romeo,MI) has an new, never titled '05 SRT-10 reg cab limited edition in yellow, sorry wrong color. It has MSRP of $48,800 marked down ,on the windshield, to $35,000. I don't know if they are including dest. or gas guzzler in that price. Dealers around here like to advertise without these and put it in the "fine print". Work your dealer, they are not moving. Also, if you like to change cars regularly, you too will have a hard time reselling.

Havn't dealt with one for a few years...
But on the Viper the gas guzzler tax was built right into the dealer invoice.

Don't worry about any gas guzzlers tax. Trucks are not hit with that tax, only cars for now. If you want gass milage buy a caliber or get a 3.7L.

I love my new 05 QC. I got it for $41 out the door with a 7 year bumper to bumper warrenty.

FYI - I turned in my 2003 Hemi QC and calculated that per tank of gas my SRT will cost me $19.38 ($2.60 of that is actual gas cost) more. Since it is not my daily driver I can live with that since this weekend I ate my first Vette, Hummer H3 (I have no idea what he was thinking playing with me), and a zipper car it is more than worth it.
