Concur...wash it by hand....Actually you probably wont have much of a choice. The tires are too wide for most 'drive though' washes.

The owners manual says 500 miles....for break in... I hit 500 today =B-)

I got mine for 4k under sticker but from what I hear, anything under sticker is rare.

There are several tonneau covers available but all of them require some form of modication to handle the rear wing. There are threads covering tonneau covers...just take a look around.

Congrats! You're gonna love your new truck. I've been building and racing old Mopars for a while. As much as I love them, it's nice to get into my Ram SRT-10 that has great seats, a great stereo, corners great and still scratches my itch for putting the eyes in the back of my head.

Always, always wash it yourself, especially black! Find a local spray wash that has a good spotless rinse cycle. I found that going about 90 mph blows most of the water off so that all it takes is a little toweling off in a few spots. Also, the Mr. Clean car wash systems work great at home when it's 50 to 80 degrees outside. If it's hotter than that, get it in the shade ASAP and dry it with micro fiber towels. You can get a package of ten at Costco for $8. Use McGuires Touch Up spray for in-between washes. Again, use the micro fiber towels and a soft touch. Keep a good coat of wax on your truck at all times. BTW, I take my shoes off and climb in side the bed to dry mine by hand.

Break in should be 500 miles. (I think it actually says that in the owner's manual.) Keep it below 4,000 rpms until then and you'll be fine.

I know of one guy locally who removed the wing to put a cover on his truck. I personally am not a fan of tonneau covers but it's a personal preference. You're the one making the payments so make it the way you want it.

Sounds like you got a fair price. I hate dealers that add a premium to popular vehicles. There are two Dodge dealers near me in Utah that don't add premiums and guess what, they get all my family's business.

Enjoy your truck!
