Blah. The ford lightning is trash, and i know for a fact there is NO competition between the two<IMG src=smileys/smiley20.gif border="0">. I think the srt-10 looks excellent too, i'd love to get one... <edited><editID>Viper-GTS</editID><editDate>37963.6190625</editDate></edited>

 

I think stock it would be a GREAT race!!! pretty even!!

Of course I am talking stock!! LOL

The lightning will be pushing 500+ ponies out of a supercharged V8er!! Thats not bad at all!!

Now the SRT will too have 500+.....but out of a N/A v10!!

Now if you can afford the SRT then you would be able to afford a Saun Roe supercharger/engine controler and push 750+ ponies!!!!

 

Well I just found out SVT isn't making the Lightning until 2006 so no worries until then. I think they are scared of the competition since they have been alone all this time. My friend was going to get it but he said SVT always waits two years after the redesign of the vehicle, but then why would they label the concept a 2004? I am worried about the 0-60 time of the Ram. Motor Trend tested it at 5.2 and a PVO site said 4.9, either way shouldn't 500 horses be faster? By the way, how much would a Saun Roe Supercharger cost?

 

the L will be around 500 also...with PVO releasing the SRT...SVT has time to make adjustments to release more HP!!

well I think that Ford is scard cuz pushing 500hp from a v8 with a blower isn't bad but how much more can that engine push? now take the v10 stick a blower on there and know what are talking about between the Dodge and the Ford the SRT-10 would smoke the Lightning with no problems. plus dodge can still do more with that engine, Ford is going to have to use a different engine besides that 5.4 to keep up.

Um...just so you know "all motor" and N/A is the same thing! They both refer to a motor that is with out a super charger, turbo, or happy gas!!

N/A = naturaly asperated
