does anyone know of an aftermarket kit out there to utilize the scoupe on the hood? a co-worker has one and his is just a straight thru setup, no ducting...

if so do you have any links you can post?

 

Volant is the closest thing. The reason you do not see a straight through setup? The TB on the front of the engine is to far forward with relation to the scoop on the hood, they are almost on top of each other.

 

Here is a visual. This is a setup for the Hemi with the SRT hood. Looking at the Hemi, where you see the black pully, that is about where the TB is on the V10, hense the dilemma

I will have this SC in about 12 months, the air cleaner is right in front of the scoop, you could always do that

 

i've been told that this scoop also provides cool air to a hot running viper intake to cool the engine down some in its stock configuration.......

 

so it pretty much sounds like no... there isnt anything out there...

has anyone tested the engine compartment temps under load with & without the vent open?
