Default Infiniti Sound System

Question. I have had my 04 SRT-10 for 3 weeks now and I cant find or understand what the little metal bax thing is in the cargo area under the center passenger seat. Can anyone shed the light on this. Also has anyone put subs in their truck ( i.e. how had is it and what type of box should I use). Any info would be great.

I think it's for the subwoofer, located under the rear seat (driver side)...

Well that would explain your questions. You do not have to look hard for the sub in a RC, it is right between the seats. I do not have a pic but this EBay auction has a pic where you can see the top half of the sub. SInce your sub is gone I guess the AMP would seem like it is not doing anything.

When you pull-down the center seat, it should reveal a sub...

If it's a little black box your talking about, that's in the back. it's for the sirius radio. That's what the dealer told me mine was on my quad cab, can't say for sure it this what your are talking about for the SRT-10 regular cab. Do you have the sirius radio?

Its not black its pollished alluminium, its under the center passenger seat in the little cargo area. Also I have no sub in the truck, instead it was like a plastic covering behind all the seats.
