I've always had bad experiences with dealerships, my local Dodge dealership beingone of the worst.I went there the other day to have a key made and to purchase another keyless entry device for my RAM SRT-10($156.00). Of course, they made me wait 3 hours on a Tuesday morning to get this done, I was literally the first person in the door when they opened. Finally, when they were "finished",my original keyless entry didn't work...They forgot to reprogram myoriginal keyless entry device along with the new one(duuuh!). Thierrookie mistake allowed me to wait another 45 minutes while they"rushed" tofix it.Almost 4 hours for a15 minute job. I will avoid this Dealership at all costs...literally[>:]Is this a dealership bashing thread?..oops

I have not had bad experiences. Just the luck of the draw, keeping in mind DC has nothing to do with how well a dealer treats you. I have had my Hemi Ram and SRT in for the doorseals, they replaced both of them even though the drivers door were the only ones tore, they checked to make sure my pulley bolts were torqued to spec on the SRT without question andthe service they performed on my Jeep (tranny band adjustment) worked great! With all that in mind I always give them just about a full day to complete the tasks. I just drop thecar/truck off in the morning and pick it up after work.

I do want to get a wheel alighnment on my Viper but I shutter at taking it anywhere, but in the end I will probably take it to the dealer because I feel comfortable with them, guess I got a good one.

you could have purchased an extra keyless entry remote off ebay for $10.00 & programmed it in yourself, it's in the owners manual.......

Well I bought my SRT at Carmax and they paid for the extra set from Dodge, otherwise, I definitely would have looked for the better deal elsewhere
Didn't know I could program it myself...Thanks for the Heads up!
