Default Ram SRT RPM Limit?

Does the 2005 Ram SRT 10 Quad Cab with Automatic transmission have a computer operated rev limiter @ 5500rpm? If so, is the limiter active in D1,2,3 only, or in auto? Where will the valves float?

Well there is a limiter, and it is lower than the RC manual trucks, but sorry, do not know what it is. This is one of the reasons why many QC owners get the Stage II DC PCM. QC's benifit BIG TIME from a Stage II PCM. One of the things the stage II will do on a QC is raise the rev limit, I think 6200RPM with the Stage II??

This is what the rev/limiter does, (i.e. sets the timing to 0) it keeps you from floating the valves. I have an R/C that has been tuned with the rev/limiter set at 6200/rpm's, the supercharger likes it high because of the build-up of pressure.
The auto/trans. flash program my have something to do with only getting 5500/rpm's out of her.......
