Ram SRT-10 Do It Yourself information
Hello all.
The fuse for my infinity sound system amplifier burns soon as I try to install a new one, even though the amp is disconnected. Does anyone know where to start?
I am looking into installing some track tires on the rear, what is the smallest size rim that fits the rear? I have par of nice 27,5" wheels for a 15" rim, will it fit?

I think it is a hydraulic, it has a small reservoir on the firewall, left side. With yellow cap if I remember it right.
Hey, about that burning fuse, you have a short to ground. Dont try to put a higher amp fuse in it. Try and trace the amp power wire to its source, the best way to do this is getting an electrical troubleshooting manual for the vehicle. Trace it to it's source, there must be a short to ground on the wire before the amp. Hope that helps.

I traced the problem and it looks like the amplifier, located under the dash(RH) is shorted to ground.
