Default Some questions on the RAM SRT 10

Hi everyone

I'm from Belgium and I like the Dodge Ram SRT 10 very much! If I have enough money, I'm going to buy one. But I have a question about it: has it got traction control?
And is there a movie of the Ram SRT 10, and can you hear the exhaust sound in it(I really want to hear it, they say it's unbelievable)? And what does MSRP mean?
Thank you very much!

PS: This is such a crazy truck, I like it so damn much! 507 BHP!!! [sm=icon_rock.gif]

No traction control like my 2001 Z06 Corvette...although the Ram SRT 10 has very good traction for acceleration runs. The traction control is more for rain and slippery conditions.

No video highlighting the truck's features. New Corvettes have a 45 minute video showing production of the car as well as speed runs and showing the features. Sure like it on rainy days! Dodge should work on one.

My Ram SRT 10 sounds great. Even louder outside the cab...those lucky people I'm passing! Over 4,000 RPM's, the big beast really comes alive.

MSRP is how much you will be paying to purchase the vehicle without any accessories. The MSRP on a Ram SRT-10 is $45,850.00. It's fully loaded and has got just about everything in it anyway so accessories shouldn't be a big priority. The SRT-10 sounds great. Just remember, it's got no Turbocharger or Supercharger, so if that 507 horsepower isn't enough there are pleanty of things you can do about it! [sm=icon_rock.gif]

As you have already read, it doesn't have traction control.

There are several videos of the Ram SRT-10, here is a link to several pictures and videos of it: http://www.srt10forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=6 And yes, you get to hear the exhaust in several of them.

MSRP = Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price

Thanks for the information! I have antoher question: If I would buy a Ram SRT10 in America and transport it to Belgium, would the price be less because of the taxes in America? Or is the MSRP price taxes not included?

I just want to confirm that Traction Control and Positraction are not the same thing. I have had people use the term Traction Control to describe Positrac so I'm not sure. I will have a heart attack if they did what they did with the Rumble Bees and didn't add the Posi.

The MSRP is the price of the vehicle before taxes, title and various fees.

The SRT-10 Ram has the same Dana 44 rear end that the Viper has, I do believe, and that does indeed have Sure Grip (the Mopar name for posi-traction).

Hi

- Is it difficult to drive the SRT 10 when it rains? (because in Belgium, it rains a lot
- Will the looks of the 2005 SRT 10 be changed? And will it exist with manual transmission but without quad cab?

Thanks and greetz

I havent driven mine in the rain yet, but the Posi traction is nice. The rear end is a dana 60 vice 44. The rear gears are 4:10 ratio.
