Default Distance between front seats...B250

Hey all,

Am currently sat on a ship and wanting to order a new fridge to sit between the front seats on my 94 B250 before I get home, would anyone here know the distance between them? May aswell go for the biggest one that will fit in there to keep the beers cold eh!

Thanks

Dave

I see that no one seems to know the answer to the question, unfortunately my B250 is an 87, if you think that would matter enough I can measure it and give you a ball park figure. Thank you for your service.

I had the same thought to go and measure mine, but mine being a 2000 1500 I couldn't guaranty the measurement. Maybe if your 87 B250 and my 2000 1500 are the same, then that might be enough of a confirmation for dropoutdave to work with.

Mine is 21" between the seats, but only 18" between the seatbelt latches. Subtract a couple of inches on each side for finger clearance around the latches and you're probably left with about 14" comfortably.

I did do this last weekend before I scrapped the van, but didn't have time to post it since then. I marked 18.5 inches between the seatbelt buckles and 21" between the bases. I may have squeezed the buckles back to the seats more because one was bent out of shape from the monitor storage which the van was doing duty as. I didn't do a front to back meeasurement, because I had no rear seats in a cargo van. just make sure whatever you get it easy to pull back incase the doghouse has to come off for changing plugs, wires, filters and miscelany.

Good luck
