1999 Dodge Ram Van ECM questions
Hi,
I have a 1999 Dodge Ram Van with a 3.9L V6 and Auto Trans and the ECM is not working properly. I have not been able to locate one or find anyone that can repair it for me. Anyone have any ideas on where to go or to find one.
Thanks.

Gen-1 Ram Vans have ECM's while Gan-2 has PCM's. Your 1999 has a PCM. Yes, get the P/N from your old PCM unit to cross reference these sites below.
www.cardone.com -oem and rebuilt with limited warranty.
www.car-part.com - major salvage yards across North America and some will ship globally too. Select "Engine Computer" as the part being looked for.

- some people have tried here with some success. However, it takes a long while to get credit for your PCM/ECM "core" charge to your account.
