Does anyone know what model transmission my 1998 Dodge B3500 cargo van would have. It has a 5.9 in it. All I know is that it is a 4 speed auto. I need to get a new transmission pan. Mine has some rusted pin holes. thanks.

 

After looking at some of the online auto parts stores, it looks like the pan is a dealer or junkyard part.

the transmission should have some numbers cast on the side which indicate which 4speed auto you have. It may also be part of your vin which you can try checking on www.allpar.com.
