Does anyone have any idea how I could fix the way my 98 B3500 maxi van shifts? It has an automatic transmission and 5.9L motor. From a stop it shifts fine from 1st to 2nd, but really revs out in second before shifting to 3rd. Here is where it gets strange. Once it shifts into 3rd, it always has to kick back down to 2nd, then goes to 3rd and finally 4th. It has done it for a long time, and I have just gotten used to it. Any ideas? Thanks.
