Default '90 A518 code question

Just a question...got a code reader for Christmas, so I decided to plug it in to our B250 since the A518 has 1st and Reverse only. We think it's the governor valve, but plugged it in anyway.

I got code 37, which is listed as an open or shorted condition detected in the torque converter part throttle unlock circuit (A-999 or A-500 transmissions only).

I have an A-518, which doesn't have a part throttle unlock solenoid since it isn't a lockup tranny.

Is this just a phantom or might it point to something else?

It can also mean that the governor pressure is out of range.

Okay, cool - thanks alloro.

When we get a chance and the weather's nicer, we're going to drop the OD unit to replace the governor valve anyway, so we'll check the fit of the tubes (and how clean they are) then.
