I own a 1999 Ram Van 1500 (actually its a Mark 3 LE conversion). I bought it to use as a windsurfing van. The high top is nice because I can stand up and change inside it.

I have been slowly modifying it to make it more user friendly for windsurfing.

Anyway, I'd like to change the two side opening doors to a sliding door, if I could.

Is this possible?

oh, and if anyone knows where I can get a billet grille for this thing, please let me know.

You would need to have a body shop do the conversion. They would need to cut both your van and a donor van that has the slide door system and wield it to your van. I do not think this would be cost effective, IMHO.

The slider door vans always had problems. The barn doors always worked best. Usually, people want the barn doors to avoid the slider door jamming up on them more than too often.
