He is talking about a helicoil kit. You can use that if you need (or want) the new manifold bolt to be the same size as the original. With those kits you enlarge the hole and install a threaded insert so that your final hole and threads end up being the original size.

 

No, but take one of the good ones with you and match it up. I would go with at least a grade 5 bolt.

 

Does any one know how long the canal is that the Exaust manaifold bolts thread in to?
