hello, again i fixed my ignition problem thanks alloro now the alternator is smoking at the blue field wire when ignition is on or running it also glows the at armature any thoughts?not charging either

 

It sounds like it could be internally shorted and needs to be replaced. This could be what blew the fusible link.

removed alternator, the brushes were melted to housing. had alternator tested. it almost fried their tester! i now have one on order thanks

 

I hope that it has not caused other problems.

 

so far so good put fuses in fusible link sections so no more smoke show, if anything happens again. i think when i blew a trans line everything was soaked in oil (tranny fluid) shorted out alternator.or, when i pressure washed everything including alternator.
