wheels replacement on my B1500
`00 B1500 Ram Van v6
This was my original concern about purchasing this van. Although I've always liked how these b series looked.
So I've tried to throw other wheels on here a couple of times. 1, some 18's that were on a `06 1500 ram truck, and then 2, stock 17's from an `03 1500 ram truck.
The problem is the b 1500 center hub is larger than the 1500 rams - the bolt pattern is the same, but doesn't flush up where it should.

sorry guys, I had to get my daughter to school.
I have a mobile service that I have been running for almost a year now.
I was originally anticipating keeping my truck & trailer that I was using for my business, but for how inexpensive, and the 'space saving' benefit of a van, I decided to get myself into this B1500, with only 54000 miles. Ya, it's only a V6, but I got it for 2800.00. Looking at the stock wheels, I was concerned about finding a good looking set of wheels for it. But then I found out that the ram 1500's all have the 5 on 139.7mm/5.5" lug pattern.
But now trying all the wheels, I am getting discouraged by trying to replace these wheels. I wanna throw some 245/60 17's on her, with a nice classic lip... that'd look real good. Like I said, I've always liked the Dodge B series Van - I've liked the souped up look of the classic vans.
Well, quite frankly, I haven't seen anyone doing any wheel replacements.
So my question is, if there is anyone that has done an aftermarket wheel upgrade, if they've had any troubles, and the spec's of the wheel, (if they have any spec's)?
any help would be appreciated.
I was given an idea yesterday of taking a dremmel tool to the hub cut out of the wheel to open it up, as needed.
any thoughts?

I do not recommend using the dremel tool on the center hub. The center hub is what holds the weight of the van, not the lug nuts. If the center is not the right size or not opened up correctly then you have a high risk of having the wheel break of the van, not a good thing.
I have read that Crager make some wheels that fits our vans. I am not sure what all models they have.

ha ha, thanks MAR - I certainly wouldn't have done it without doing a bit of research, and your comment made too much sense to want to consider it any longer.
I'll see what Crager have to offer. I'll have to borrow and measure that hub knuckle/seat with a micro caliper, just so I know what I'm dealing with, all around. Thanks again.
