no drag, self adjusters rarely work... take the drums of right and adjust to normal specs

so when you jack the van and put in (n) when you spin the wheels

there should be no drag at all ?

no drag, adjust the shoes so they have a wee bit of drag then back it off just enough so it clears the drum

Right, no drag. Disk brakes are designed so that the pads are in constant contact with the rotor, drum brakes are not designed that way. With drum brakes, you DO NOT want the brake shoes touching the drums while the vehicle is in motion.
