Well I guess that explains it. When I took the intake out of my 2000 I didn't have to remove the seats even then, so I was a bit perplexed as to the reason to do it for a timing chain on the front of the engine. The only time I took out my front seats is when I wired in my remote start/alarm system because of all the under-dash wiring involved.
