Ram van
I have a B250 that used to be a CNG rig. Someone tried converting it to gas and had some problems and sold it to me. They had put a new intake and carb on and the van had very low power and got about 6mpg. I believe the carb is for a 360, how do I tell? Anyway, what do I need to do to get this thing to reliable get about 10mpg and what should I expect milage wise? Thanks for the help. I have been battling this thing for over a year and have torn out the computer, put electronic ignition in and new alternator with internal voltage regulator and still can get above 10 mpg coasting downhill. Had headers installed. The carb cuts out when headed up a steep hill above about 50 mph. Any advice will be appreciatated. I have tried rebuilding the carb with no luck. Tried a different carb but couldn't get to idle. Don't know what to buy or try next and need to get this right as we are expecting another child soon and won't all fit in the car. Thanks for the help.
