Default cruise intermittent & wheel question

I tried to search the threads before posting, so plz forgive if this is a repeat question.
1990 Ram Van B250 318/OD. The cruise works fine for about 10 mintues then starts to drop & regain speed, then after about the 5th time of that the cruise shuts off on it's own. Could it be a vacuum leak going to the servo or something else?
Looking for snow wheels, does anyone know which years interchange?

For what it's worth, the cruise control on my Ford Explorer used to be intermittent. It would work for a while then turn itself off. Some days it would work for as much as an hour or two. I finally fixed it after 3 years. I pulled it apart to get to the electronic board and one wire was wrapped to the terminal but not soldered. All other wires were soldered. Anyhow, I soldered it and it's worked great ever since.

Thank you. I may dig into the steering column and follow the yellow brick road from there!
