Default engine stalls at idle and sounds wierd

After I left the int. light on one night I charged it up. It would start, run, and die if I didn't keep reving it up. It sounded different...hard to explain, but the engine seemed to be tighter sounding? Almost like it was out of oil. (Oil pressure fine.) It would not idle without imediately quitting. Would start up again but still not respond normally. An hour later it started fine, sounded fine and idled fine??????, Took it to Batteries Plus to have the system checked. Checked out fine too.

Tomorrow I have to take it, loaded up with my wifes art and take it 70 miles away to an art show. If it dies again, I'm screwed!

Seems to be intermitent, but electrical?

Anyone have a clue?

You should really post the year and model of your ride.

Each time you completely discharge a battery, you have reduced it's lifespan significantly. If it were an older battery when you abused it thusly, it might have pushed it over the edge.
How did you recharge it? If you simply jumpstarted the vehicle, it would take about 8 hours of highway driving to fully charge the battery.

Your issue could be as simple as having erased the learned computer settings after having drained the battery. It then had to relearn you engine after the battery drain.

If the issue returns on your post '93? vehicle, you should search for a thread called cleaning the IAC motor.

Did Batteries plus actually remove your battery and perform a load test upon it?

I have witnessed your issue on a 2001 that had a weak and dying battery.
