Picked up a remote for a few bucks and I've got keyless entry now! I'm not sure I'd have found the green program wire to ground without tiara's pics, thanks so much!

 

Wow. Thanks for the pics! I have a '94 B250 Conversion Van I bought in 2004. All these years I did not know that it has remote entry. I verified that the receiver is there, now I just have to find a transmitter and I should be in business! Thanks.

 

Just got my remotes today. Found them on eBay. The ones I got were the 2-button ones for a Dodge Dakota (no trunk). They were made by TRW. Went out and within 30 seconds I had 2 working remotes! Yay! Thanks again!

 

i realize u trying to forget about this thread but if i may can i ask u some quesitons. u seemed to have worked in same area of vehicle as me.
i have 94 b250.
the trw remote is as u say behind dash. it has 2 plug in's one is there (pluged in) but i can not find the other plug in for it. should it have another. (nothing in my manual)
if u have pic would be great but you probably already put together.
just need to know if there should be 2 plug in's to it. so i can find the other (can not find it).
whats happening for me is when i turn key on, engine just turns over and horn is going off. thought i would try your steps above to reset it , hope this works.
to make it more difficult there is another alarm system, crimestoppers , think i have issues with it to. but figured i would make sure the trw is ok first.
