Angry Electrical problem 2000 Dodge Van B1500 3.9

I have a Dodge Ram van B1500 3.9 my brake lights don't work but the top one on the roof dose. the flashers don't work and the directionals don't work but if I press the flasher button down the directionals will work ??? I thought it might be a problem with the blug for the trailer hitgh but I cut the wire and tape each wire to make sure the were not touching. All the fuses look fine

Your turn signal switch is no good.

It's in the steering column. It's that lever you push up or down to signal left or right turns. To some it's the "directionals".

Whoa, whoa, and whoa! You asked where the switch was located and I told you. There was no misunderstanding your question. If you didn't correctly state what you really needed to know, that's you problem not mine. You wouldn't be the first person to come here looking for answers that had absolutely no clue as to the most obvious of component locations or functions on a vehicle. I could've just as easily jumped all over your *** for asking such an idiotic question, but instead gave you the benefit of the doubt and showed you some respect.

You want help? Maybe someone else will be desperate enough for the attention but I'm not. You want to know how to change the switch...now you can go buy a repair manual.
