Default 94 B250 stalls when stopping and idles rough

Van is 5.2 with 226,000 miles, always runs great until recently. Started stalling when coming to a stop about three miles after a cold start. Restart it and keep it moving and it wouldn't do it again for days.Drove about 30 miles yesterday with no problem until I slowed to turn in the driveway and it stalled.Restarted and kept it running until parked and it stalled again.I can hold the RPM's at about 2000 and its not bad, but runs rough at slower speeds.Had codes 11,12&42.Checked MAP,TPS & IAT with OHM meter and checked good. Crankshaft posion sensor showed 1946 ohms, will replace that. The thing that got my attention was that when it stalls, the check engine light don't come on.If I turn the ignition off and back on it comes on. I will check the ASD circuit wiring tomorrow and all grounds. It doesn't stall and run rough everyday but it is getting more frequent. Intermittant problems are the worst, they are easier to track if it would quit and not start. Last August I replaced the timing chain and gears (for peace of mind)Plenum gasket, valve seals and ignition coil. Fuel pump finally went in October, replaced that and no problems until now.

Try cleaning the IAC valve.

Went out and fired it up today and it runs good. Drove it 10 miles no problems. I,m gonna borrow my brothers Snap On scanner for a while so that the next time it starts acting up I can hook the scanner up and see what all the sensors are doing and make short work of it.

Does it only act up worse when you are on the brake? If so then you have a faulty brake booster. Just replace one on my mother's car, a 94 Plymouth Sundance. It acted up last year when we had the tranny rebuilt, then behaved for a few months then it would come and go on the stalling until the last month when it would do it each time as you described with in about 2 to 3 minutes after start up.

Do you hear any hissing sound coming from under the dash where the brake pedal is?

I've put about 500 miles on it since then and it runs great.I did replace the Intake Air Temp sensor and went over all the wiring and everything checked out good. We'll see what happens.
