I have seen countless rigs in Baja put their plastic or metal can cans on their roof racks. I questioned one, and he claimed the only issue is when you need to use it, you must take extra precaution when opening the cap, as it's under pressure, depending on how much air was left inside.

I've seen some of the red plastic bleached to a slight pink.

Of course they must be tied down very well, and in a rollover accident it is just another piece of shrapnel in a grenade, and another method to trigger it.

Is there any place you haven't gone with your van?

Yeah, I have not taken it to Mainland Mexico, yet, or Canada. The only ferries It has been on is in the Seattle area. I have crisscrossed this country over a dozen times with it, but the last 2 years I've only added 5 k miles or less.

Well that would certainly explain why you haven't popped in for coffee!

Which interstate are you near? When the Sacramento Levees collapse and 32 million pampered princes and princesses have to ration their water, I'm bailing California.

I'm in the northeast, you'd have quite a ways to drive.
