I am Ken in Montana
I have a little more rare version of the 4x4 Dodge van. Mine is a 1/2 ton with a 318 V8 in it. It needs some work but runs good. It's ugly but fun to drive. I heard that Dodge started building the half ton 4x4 vans but they were too dangerous with the shorter, narrower body and narrow stance. It sits pretty high and is pretty top heavy. The guy I bought it from swears to me that it is factory 4x4 and it certainly looks like it is but I don't know for sure. It could use wider axles and bigger tires. The gas mileage is terrible of course at about 7 miles per gallon. I'm sure it could use a tune up though to help that out a bit. I would post pictures on here but don't know how. I haven't been able to find any other 1/2 ton 4x4 Dodge vans online anywhere. They all seem to be one tons with bigger motors. Mine was built in January of 1979 but has a 1980 grill and is titled as a 1980. Does anybody know if in fact Dodge made the factory 4x4 1/2 ton version? Thanks and I like the other pictures I've seen on here. I hope to figure out how to post my own soon.

The images did post right nor when I quoted your posting none of the IMG links were grabbed. It was odd why that happened.
Anyways, nope that's not the Ram Van that hauled those lumber jacks and fire rescue out of the woods. It was a 12-passenger Ram Van.
I must say, good job finding those other van pixs.
