Default Where to find Custom Van parts

Hello,
I have looked at a couple sites (trucknvans.com and truckcustomiers.com) and can not find the items I am searching for. Does anyone know of any other sites or companies I can call that make custom van parts. One thing I would really like to find is a porthole type pentastar window. My brother and I are seeing who can get their van done first Thanks for any info.

Try JC Whitney - they have all kinds of strange and hard to find stuff.

They are just like summitracing and jegs, just general stuff. They do not have what I'm looking for.

Try reading the thread "The Official Port Hole Window Gallery" over at vannin. There's got to be some clue somewhere within those 19 pages.

Thanks, that helped a bunch. I found the companies that make that pentastar window, but they are all closed. So I will have to keep searching craigslist and ebay and swap meets until I find them. The vannin' site is great, gave me lots of great ideas, also found a neat graphics place. Phoenixgraphix.com

The big question is...are you going to share this information with your brother before or after your van building competition ends?

I will share info with him right before mine is done Unless I find the pentastar porthole windows, he really wants those bad. I'm thinking of painting mine up with so it will look like the late 70's power wagon graphics.

BTW, what exactly is a "pentastar" porthole window and how is it different from a regular porthole window?

Is it just a shape thing, or is it a manufacturer brand name?

It's a porthole that looks like the Dodge pentastar symbol. Doubt they make a rams head porthole, so the pentastar would be pretty sweet.

I remember those types of windows back in the late 70s, but have not seen them in two decades. Searching Google images turns up nothing.
