(folks not sure if this is the right place) I'm in dire need of help i have as the title says 73 dodge swinger motor-home the book i have calls it an M300 1 ton chassis with a 318 heavy motor. 2bbl carter BBD Carburetor. problem - idles great, when slowly accelerating does OK, when i put the break on and put in drive,or reverse it dies. I've rebuilt the Carburetor changed fuel filter and done all the common fixes. can anyone give me an idea i haven't tried yet wife is getting mad because she doesn't want to do an other camping trip in a tent says something about getting to old to sleep on an air mattress. so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if that year engine has an EGR valve on the intake manifold, but is sounds like it could be stuck open.
