I went by the haynes manual and checked the shift cable for proper adj. and it was correct. I then pulled the 3 prong plug (NSS) and tested
the switch. Reverse was right but I could not get continuity between center pin and case in park or reverse. So I pulled the switch from tranny.
The fingers were centered in the hole where the switch mounts so I tested the switch itself and there was continuity. I tested the finger inside
the switch hole for continuity and it's good. So I think the finger inside the hole is not contacting the switch pin. I guess I will go get a new
switch and see what happens.
