Whats the best way to wire in the license plate light.

Not sure what you mean, isn't it already wired?

Mine only has one wire. Gets it's ground through the bumper, not sure where it get's it's feed, probably the tail park lamps, but not the brake circuit.

On my '73 it is the same wire that feeds the side markers.

That sounds about right. My 74 Duster was the same way.
