window removal
Going to tint my windows and ,It looks easy enough to remove the 2 side windows and the 2 back ones.
So would I be correct in saying that I remove the chrome lever from the glass, and then slide the window out ?
Could it be that easy ?

To get the windows off, yes it is that easy to just remove the 3 screws, then you lift the window up past 90 degrees, and it falls out of the top track. The backing plate which the 3 screws thread into is loose, so you should remove the door paneling, reach up and hold it so you do not lose it.
No doubt you have seen that nut next to the glass think that if you remove that you can remove the windows. But the chrome mechanism is attached to the bolt. There is a pin holding it in. I could not remove this pin, even when using a proper tool, so I took a thin cut off wheel on my dremel, and cut it in 2 spots. Then the nut can be removed completely, and the stud that goes through the glass.
Then of course there is nothing on the glass, and it makes it simple to tint versus working around the chrome handle.
I used a regular cotter pin where I cut the pin upon reinstallation.
