I blew a brake line in my van today about 15 miles from home, making it quite an interesting return trip.

 

Glad you made it home. Which line blew? If one of the fronts I bet it was rather scary when it blew, hope you did not have to dodge anything when it happened, no pun intended.

 

It was the short one that runs from the proportioning valve to the RWAL valve located under the battery. All the other brake lines are okay, so I suspect corrosion dripping down from the battery during engine washes ate away at this particular brake line.
