Default 2000 dodge ram 1500 van rough idle 3.9

it runs great at any speed --when stoped or parked it idles rough changed plugs wires cap and rotor -- fuel pressure is 46-50 psi engine

Have you done a compression test? That should be first because if even one of the cylinders is low, then nothing else you do is going to fix it.

The van is now 7+ years old. You will need to clean the IAC ( Idle Air Control valve).

If the cleaning isn't helping, then the IAC is bad and needs to be replaced. If replaced, you still need to clean the IAC port hole and the slot at the base inside the chamber.

As for a cap-n-rotor, be sure to use only copper/brass. The aluminum cheap-o ones are junk and rarely last between oil changes.

i did check the compression they were very close to each other maybe 2-5%,, they were close none were 25 percent of each other ,,ill try the iac and get back with u thanks again
