Default Anyone Install Training Wheels on a 3500 Van ?

Hi
Has anyone installed a Dually Conversion on a 3500 one ton van ?
I am thinking about it more for stability , then weight capacity . When traveling cross country in 2009 , in Our 2001 Maxi Van , We did know it when the trailers blew by .
After reading all the reports on the Dodge Maxi Vans having a tendency to roll over with a blow out , also since We will most likely be towing one of Our trailers this winter ( My wife wants to bring the pop up or the 12 Ft. Holmes Utility Trailer , and I want to bring my new 18 Ft. cam Super-line car hauler . for picking up goodies to bring back home ) I am seriously considering doing the conversion just for the stability and piece of mind .

Before you jump into a big investment like that, how about looking into the Road Master Active Suspension System first.

Look seriously at the video of how the maxi vans tip onto two wheels prior to the kit being added and then how well the balance is after the kits installed.

My van is remarkably stable in winds and windy roads going down hills with or without the travel trailer in tow.

Hi Stev
Thanks for the heads up , I had forgotten about those , but they do remind Me of the " Traction Control Devices " they were selling at J.C Whitney back in the 60's that didn't work all that well , ( at least on My olds powered 49 Ford and My 421 Pontiac powered 56 Chev. they didn't )
For a little over $ 300 , plus the cost of a new set of springs , it is something to look into .
The sway doesn't bother Me that much , but on those long stretches when the Wife is driving and I am cat napping ??
Thanks
Bob
