Default Disc Brake Rear End Swap

Hello, I saw a dodge van 1500, 2000 and something but the actual year is unknown, it has rear disc brakes, whats involved in a swap to a 94 dodge B150 that has rear anti-lock drum brakes. Also, the bolt pattern looked bigger, it also had brand new front disc rotors, I would have got them, even if I had to change wheels wheels to a bigger five bolt pattern. Would the front rotors mount on my 5-4.5" front spindles?
Thanks Dude

To be clear I am unsure what year the van in the wrecking yard is, Im sure its a model after 2000, this is why I am posting the question, so someone with alot of dodge van swapping experience can answer.

Afaik, any axle from any van 171 to 2003 will fit. I don't know what it will take to get the ABS to work. I'd be more concerned if it has an acceptable gear ratio. There might still be a tag on on of the diff cover bolts

Just go do some measuring for where the spring perches and shock mounts are welded on your current and possible disc converted rear axle..

You can get spacers/ adapters to get a 5 x 5.5 to fit a 5 x 4.5.

I'd certainly enjoy better brakes.

You should snap some pics of that van you saw before it disappears into the crusher and post them here. There would be lots of interest in retrofitting rear drums to discs and upgrading the front setup to something (anything) better than stock.
