1990 B250 brake issue
Hello, I am new to the forum and just today bought a 1990 B250 cargo van. The anti lock light is on on the dash and the brakes are VERY hard to push and it seems to take a long time to stop. It has a full pedal but acts like a vehicle without power brakes.
I got it really cheap as I will only be using it to haul dirtbikes, but if I could fix this issue I would be happy.
I did a search and didn't find this topic, so if this is a repost I do apologize!

If you have no power brakes, then either the booster is not getting vacuum from the Intake manifold or the diaphragm within the booster has failed.
Generally, the loss of vacuum will cause the engine to run poorly too.

It sure feels like there is no power. You really have to push hard on the pedal. It seems to idle rough but overall runs ok. Is there anyway to test the booster? I thought maybe since the antilock light was on the two were related. Thanks for the response!
Just about everything points to the ABS valve assembly. The hard pedal and the light on at the same time is a good indicator. The ABS valve assists, from my research, and with it not working right, it causes the hard pedal and the light to come on.
At the risk of asking a dumb question...is your parking brake on?
