Question How does a bent push rod...

make your engine run?

Tried everything to solve what feels like a constant miss. Almost everything except replacing fuel injectors. Loss of power @ 50%. Problem used to be intermittent.

Computer reads good... I have replaced every dang thing that bolts up to the motor near about.

Was thinking injector or bent push rod... now.

When my buddy had a cam lobe go round on his Small Block Chevy, it seemed as if the engine was missing. I assume a bent pushrod would have a similar effect, but am mostly posting this to bump it up for you.

It would not bee to difficult to check for a bent pushrod, and with a roller cam, you probably can rule out a flattened cam lobe.

Same thing was happening with my van. Check the coil, cap/rotor (I changed them out and a world of difference)
And the transmission....These 93 big baby's have notorious transmissions (especially the 4 speeds).

Even with a bad tranny (brass ring in front pump chewed up and scratched torque converter at the very least) I never got a check engine light or a bad code.
I truly hope it's not your tranny or that you have a 3 speed. The 4 speeds are impossible to find if you have a small budget. The 3's run just about $200...The 4's $800 and up. Just for a used one...
