This one had the mechanic at the dealer scratching his head, the tranny only slips(?) when u mke left hand turns. It's like it gets confused when turning left and it feels like someone bumped me from behind when it reengages. Weird right? Its fine on takeoff and Turning right but for some reason left hand turns slip. Now I'm not talk in long sweeping L but from a red light or stop sign it will slip every time without fail.

 

I had this happen on a 73 holden Kingswood I owned in Australia.

It was low on tranny fluid.

You must check the level in Neutral, when warm, engine running after running it through each of the gear detents
