ram 2500 will not start

Default ram 2500 will not start
i have a 2000 ram 2500 van that will not run it trys to start but will not run , smells like it is get to much gas. can anyone help me.

Pull of the center wire from the distributor and use it to check for spark while cranking the engine. Do you get spark?

Do you have a digital voltmeter (DVM)? Because your next step is to remove the 2-wire connector going to the ignition coil and check for 12 volts when the key is on.
