96 Ram Van NO Spark - PLEASE HELP!!!
Won't it just blow the gasket out again if I don't replace the pan with one of the same metal? I was thinking of making one myself out of aluminum plate. Shouldn't be too tuff.

The link works, a little difficult to follow but I gather you had the PCM replaced and its running now. Expect electrical issues with these vehicles, all of the wiring is marginal at best.
Yes, it will fail again. The factory plenum bottom plate contracts/expands at a different rate than the gasket can handle.
Read the pickup section of this forum for more info and creative ideas. Some people make their own plenum plate and others buy the thicker replacement plate. I haven't had to deal with this yet but it is a well documented issue with Dodge Magnum engines.
