It's that or you keep a propane torch with you at all times!

Ok, found a PCM off a B250 at the boneyard. Mine is a 5602-8266, this one's a 5602-8264 from a 318 instead of a 360 like mine. It was only $20. I got it swapped out, and my van seems to start a bit better. I'll report back in the morning, hopefully with good news!

Well this morning, like yesterday morning, it's a bit warmer than it's been. Difference is, today my van fired right up!!!!! I believe my issue is solved! Thank you alloro for knowing what the problem was and thank you sparkzz for directing me to the part! Oh, by the way, my fuel gauge still does not work, so I'm guessing that's just a bad gauge, not as big an issue though!

Actually it's more likely to be a bad sending unit in the fuel tank.

My fuel gauge reads empty, it doesn't move, flutter or anything. Does the tank need to be dropped to replace this? Is that sending unit part of the fuel pump, or an independent part?

May as well replace the whole enchilada -- Delphi fuel pump - ~$200.00 plus labor. Some people think we drive old Dodge vans because we're cheap and poor. If they only knew!!

Yes the tank needs to be dropped, and yes the sender is part of the fuel pump assembly, as is the fuel filter.
