Default finger trick

I would like to tell everyone to try the finger trick if they have an idle problems or have just replaced their IAC sensor. I spent hours looking and checking different forums and changed my IAC sensor and still had problems. Also went to AutoZone and borrowed their fuel pressure gauge and it checked out good. Then i checked for a vacuum leak by spraying all my rubber hoses with starting fluid. That also checked out good. So i decided before i spend all this money on changing sensors and i tried the easiest, i would take it to my local mechanic that has never failed me before. Well after 2 hours they they said with confidence that it was my crankshaft sensor. Knowing this sensor was one of the harder ones to change i told them to do it. Well they came out and told me it was done and it would be $225.00 then after i paid them the mechanic came out and said it still had the idle problem. UGH UGH UGH I was like REALLY!!!! what did i pay them to do? He said they have no clue and they were stumped!!!! they said they would try getting a used pcm and flash it and see if that does it. So i asked them if they are experimenting and have know clue!! They looked at me and said yes. Thats when i went home and said i am going to try the finger trick i seen in one of the forums. Well i went and tried it and waited for the idle problem to happen. And i am still waiting a day later LOL LOL I wish i would of tried the finger trick before i trusted and gave my mechanic $225.00!!! So lesson to all try the "FINGER TRICK" THANK YOU
