Trying to find our which fornt axle I have. New Ram owner (about to be)
Hi folks. I am test driving my buddies Ram Wagon 2500 2001.
He is letting me borrow before I buy.
There is one thing that I see needs fixing to pass inspection so far and that is the right outer tie rod.
I went to advanced auto to pick up a mood tie rod end but on the moog site for that part # it states "4000lb axle uses different part"
So I checked the sticker in the hood and my axle code is DJE.
The GAWR is 3800 for the front according to the door jamb sticker. I am assuming that the axle is a 4000lb axle.
The Gross vehicle weight is 7800lb
Where can I find out the specs of that axle code?
