I have a 1999 full size dodge van 1500, 5.2L. The blower only works on "high" position, and not on low or middle speeds... any suggestions? does the resistor or blower motor need replaced..? and if so, what is their location? is this something a non-mechanice like myself can replace.. and would Autozone be a good place to get these parts? thank you in advance!

 

It's the blower speed resistor. When I needed one for my 2000 I could only get one at the dealer. It was like $15.

Look under the hood, see that big black box on the passenger side. The resistor is mounted into that with 2 screws and a 4-wire connector. It's right in front, you can't miss it.

 

Same thing was wrong with my 2002 Ram Van. An EZ-PZ fix.
