Sorry to hear about your problems locally. Like others in your town, I do not care for the deal in our small town so I drive about 20 miles if I feel I would be better served having something done at the dealer.
If you are mechanically inclined at all, it would be in your best interest to order a set of genuine shop manuals off ebay for your Van.
The only other suggest I would make to you is that it is in your best interest to read about any repair a garage suggests for your Van prior to agreeing to let them do it. Last but least, always tell them you would like to have any old part that they say needs replaced. That why you at least have evidence that they have replaced the parts they claim to have replaced.
