need help with finding a radiator
looks liek locally, i am between autozone and oreily.....
oreily has a "ready radiator plus" 433961 for $184.99 -- lifetime warranty, plastic tank
, can get it in a day and offers a military discount (but couldn't give me the % unless i ordered it) and they don't need me to pay until i go pick it up
autozone has a "spectra premium" for $184.99 -- lifetime warranty, plastic tank
, , can get it in 2-3 days and offers a 10% military discount but requires i pay before they order it
monument has "spectra premium" cu1707 in stock for $179.93 -- not sure about warranty, plastic tank
, no military discount
pepboys "spectra premium" cu1707 for $218.00 -- not sure on warranty, plastic tank
, no military discount and can get it in 1 day
so really, it is between the "ready radiator plus" or the "spectra premium"
i think the ready radiator plus might be a murray, as that part number and price is reflected on oreily's website

Having it in short time I understand. But I also like dealing with a local retailer incase, slash that, WHEN the time comes for replacement of the part that has failed. Going through a mail order site takes to long, IMO, when having an issue with the failed part.
Well from what I see, Radiator Express is less money for a better product. Plus whenever I used them the radiator was delivered the same day or the next. Only once did I have to wait into a second day for the delivery. But it's your money and your van, so it's your call.
So... oreily and autozone both havea lifetime warranty where if it breaks with normal use, you take it in and they will swap it out. They won't cover improper installation.
I need to give back my loaned vehicle next Monday. I won't have $ till Friday.
Which is better, the ready radiator plus (possibly murray) or the spectra premium? Or are they both similar? They can have them in store in a day.

When I order from them I usually have the radiator show up within 2 hours. As a rule they deal with local warehouses and delivery trucks, not UPS, FedEx, etc. Only once did a local warehouse not have what I need, and it was that one time that it did come FedEx. That was the time it took 2 days for me to get it.
jsut looked on radiator express.com and htey have an all alluminum 2 core, BUT it ays minor modification is needed, and that it is HD.... my understandign was that the HD also had an oil cooler?
there is also a 3 core, all alluminum, HD as well
they do have a stock replacement one, that is not Hd, and is plastic tanked......
